These masked bandits are very clever and dexterous creatures of the night, though it’s not entirely unusual to see one during the day in the birthing/nursing season (sometimes mom just needs a break and something to drink).   They are capable of living in your fireplace, breaking through vents to your attic or basement to lodge.  Raccoons will also live under low lying decks and out-buildings.  They can be extremely determined, destructive and are very strong.  If they can’t be deterred and pose a nuisance or threat to you, proper raccoon removal services can set traps and remove them.
